GETTING TO KNOW THE BAND

December Question:  How many PMEA Festival Medals have been earned by the current Tornado Big Band Members?

Sorry for the delay with the answer to this question since we were not able to get a response from all members concerning their medal count.  As close as we can determine, the count is over 50.  I was also informed that the medal count does not represent all of the festivals in which TBB members have participated.  The recent District Orchestra Festival did not award medals and neither has the District Honors Jazz Band or MENC All East Festival Ensembles.

Here is February's question:  How many times has the TBB rung in the New Year at "Ring in the Arts"?
